AWS Developer & AWS SysOps Streams
The AWS Developer Associate and DevOps Professional certification stream is aimed at developers wishing to write and deploy application on AWS infrastructure and use AWS services.
The AWS SysOps stream is aimed at those wishing to develop or validate their DevOps skills when it comes to deploying and maintaining cloud applications on AWS using a DevOps approach.
There are different associate level certifications and exams for the AWS Developer and AWS SysOps stream but they share a common professional level certification being DevOps Engineer. This reflects the merging of the roles between developer and system operator that is the essence of the DevOps movement.
